Steven E. Post, EA, CRPC

Steve Post began his career in 1974, starting his own accounting, tax and small business consulting practice immediately after graduating with honors from Georgia Tech where he played basketball for four years.  His practice has also evolved into the investment and financial planning arena.  Steve has earned Enrolled Agent and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designations and is also a Registered Investment Advisor.  Investments Advisors are fee-only financial planners.

Steve appreciates the opportunity to practice in his home town and cherishes helping clients understand complex financial and tax scenarios, the planning process and seeing his clients become successful in their business and financial lives.  Steve is very service-oriented and enjoys serving people as well as his savior, Jesus Christ.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Nicki, has two grown children and four grandchildren, and enjoys golf, tennis, basketball, travel and being at the family lake home during the summer.

Austin Miller, CPA

In 2009, after graduating with honors from Ball State University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting, Austin spent two years working for a local Chicago firm performing tax and assurance functions.  While he lived in Chicago, Austin received his CPA license.  During October 2011, Austin moved to Grand Rapids where he was promoted to Senior Associate while working for a large international accounting firm performing assurance projects.  In October 2012, Austin moved back to his hometown, Auburn, and joined Steve Post.  He is motivated and excited to serve clients with the same care and precision Steve has since 1974.

Austin is married to DeKalb native, Mariah Martz.  She works at the Eckhart Public Library in Auburn.  Austin enjoys the outdoors and taking time off with Mariah and their dog, Sasha.



 



Gary R. Klaehn, RTRP

After graduating from Eastern New Mexico University in 1973 with a BBA degree majoring in Marketing and Finance, Gary entered the family funeral home business.  In 1977, he graduated from the Indiana College of Mortuary Science with an Associate Degree and sat for and passed the Indiana State and National Board exams to earn his Funeral Director and Embalming license.

He worked in all facets of the family business and, in 1980, he was elected the COO and, in 1987, the CEO.  In 1997, the family business was sold to Service Corporation International and Gary remained on staff until his retirement in December of 2011.

During his retirement, he went back to school and graduated with honors from IPFW with a Post Bachelorette Certificate of Accounting in 2006 while working part time for Income Tax preparation firms.  In October of 2005, he affiliated with the Steven E. Post, EA, LLC firm and provided tax, accounting and business consulting services for their clients and he continues to work in that capacity with Post & Miller, Inc.


Rosann Darnall, CPA

Rosann started working for Steve Post in 1987 while attending Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne.  She graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and received her CPA license in 1997.  After graduating, Rosann worked for several local businesses and continued to help Steve with corporate returns during the tax season.

In 2009, Rosann married Michael Darnall.  They reside on the family farm where Rosann grew up.  They enjoy attending car shows and cruse-ins with their classic car as well as going on tractor drives with their antique farm tractor.  They also enjoy attending local festivals, fairs, and spending time with family and friends.









Amy Gerhardstein

Amy received her Associates Degree in Accounting from International Business College in December, 1979. She worked for two CPA firms in Fort Wayne for 16 years.  In 1996, Amy became the VP of Finance and Accounting for a copier sales company also in Fort Wayne until she joined Post and Miller in the fall of 2017.

In 1980, Amy married Shawn and they now have two grown sons, one daughter-in-law, two grandchildren and one grand-dog.

Shawn and Amy spend time at the lake during the summer water skiing and fishing.  They like to go on cruises and Amy enjoys riding her motorcycle.
